Under Political Awareness & Involvement we develop, plan, and execute social action initiatives and programs in the communities we serve to promote social action, political awareness and community development.

The objectives:
-
To increase voter registration and participation among males and females 18 years of age or older who are citizens of the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
-
To address legislative issues that impact the communities that the chapter serves.
-
To promote leadership, advocacy, and empowerment to effect social change and public policy in areas of Education, Economic Development, International Awareness, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness.

To provide support to the local NAACP chapters represented by the members of Cambridge Alumnae chapter.

Delta Day at City HallOn October 10, 2017, during its first Delta Day at City Hall event, the City Council of Cambridge unanimously voted in favor of and Mayor Victoria Jackson-Stanley signed our proclamation, declaring that October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month in the city of Cambridge.
